Louis Vuitton Mon Monogram

Previously Louis Vuitton has offered personalization services like hot-stamping initials onto a wide selection of soft leather good.  LV recently has taken a step further by offering a new way to personalize your monogram bag. The Mon Monogram has been introduced since 2008 personalizing two iconic LV’s, the Speedy handbag and Keepall travel bag. Starting from June 1st 2009, this service will be extended to the Pegase 55 suitcase in classic and business versions.
How it works? Pick your initials, only up to three letters then decide whether you want it with vertical or diagonal stripes or a combination of both. A range of 17 different colours are available. Each bag will be visualized via an in-store computer simulation. Once you made your choice, the order will then be sent directly to one of Louis Vuitton workshops where your personalized bag is created and assembled.  Each fabrication of the Mon  Monogram takes about six to eight weeks.  Currently this service has been offered around 100 Louis Vuitton flagship stores worldwide.
